IXLD Media Inc. is proud to present our latest marketing innovation: the SellFM Talking Sign. This lightweight FM transmitter can be used to broadcast messages on an unused frequency about a display site or property to a small area (roughly 100 meters, much more powerful then an IPOD transmitter but still valid as an unlicensed broadcaster).

While that isn't exactly new (Low Powered Announcement Radios have been around for decades), we have added something that is: an SD card input that holds .mp3 and .wav formatted files.

Traditionally, these tiny broadcasters have been sold with a rj-25 phone and 1/8” stereo plugs (our units still have those). This means the end-user has to either record through a poor quality portable microphone or for better recordings (and any mixing capability) connect the unit physically to a computer or professional audio station.

The addition of the SD card input allows users to establish the transmitter in an area, build it in if necessary, and easily download new high quality digital recordings that they can have produced professionally or even do themselves at home or the office.

The SellFM Talking Sign runs on a standard AC plug and can be connected to an inverter for use in vehicles.

Full production of this Low Powered Announcement FM Radio unit with an SD card input will be starting soon. Prototype trials have gone very well and the devices have received national unsolicited media exposure during testing. This has generated calls and emails from all over Canada from people wishing to purchase the SellFM Talking Sign.

Ideal markets for the SellFM Talking Sign include: property management companies and building owners, real estate agencies, homeowners and homeowners' associations, retail outlets, sign companies, ad agencies and fleet vehicles.
